Brain and rhythm! Radio Centraal has been independent and non-commercial since 1980. The latter does not just mean "without advertising" but also without the pictures that you already hear on all other channels until you are crazy about it. We do not run things because they give us money. Radio Centraal is unheard of. It does not only want to explore the boundaries of radio-making, but also broadens it. On Radio Central therefore - without advertising - an offer from very diverse layers of audible sound frequencies. Out of passion, aversion or curiosity. Not only very different styles of music, also other waves from a sonorous universe, we radiate over the city. Innovative, controversial, shocking, avant-garde, situational experimentation with sound, we like to do that. Radio Centraal does not like ready-to-eat standard meals according to fixed recipes. We prefer to prepare our own meals.
